Nice Yamaha AV Receiver App

Applications installs and runs nicely; has the basic controls for the RX-V473 networked home theater receiver which itself is a nice little product, by the way. One enhancement to consider - add a receiver setup menu item to be able to go in and adjust receiver settings. As it is now, the app is useful _after_ the receiver is configured the way you want it - but it does not allow you to come in through the app and fine-tune receiver configuration.

I really like this app about as much as a guy can like an app. I was just trying to figure out a way to add an exterior grade volume control for the zone-2 of my rx-a1000. not anymore. with this app, i can control both zone-1 & 2 seperately which means i can control the volume of my speakers out on my deck with my kindle fire. AWESOME!!! Thanks to whoever came-up with the idea for this app, it literally saved me frustration, time and money. If I could give this a 6 out of 5 I would. It is a little bit to get used to but it will be a very useful tool. I am just glad I bought a reciever that is wi-fi enabled. i 100% recommend this app if you have a compatible reciever.

Nice tool for my new Yamaha receiver

This Kindle Fire app was a nice additional tool for my new Yamaha RX-A720 receiver. It works well, is fairly intuitive, and a lot easier to use than the remote that came with the receiver. I recommend it.
